Quartz — fine jewellery storefront
Editorial e-commerce storefront for a fine-jewellery house with 3D product viewing, atelier-led storytelling, and white-glove appointments.
- Brand audit + photography direction
- 3D product capture (GLB)
- Hydrogen storefront
- Appointment booking flow
- Editorial collection stories
What they needed to solve.
Quartz's £2k–£40k pieces were being shown as 800px JPEGs on a generic Shopify theme. UHNW customers expected to see provenance, craftsmanship, and try-before-they-fly options. Conversion was 0.4%.
How we approached it.
A Hydrogen storefront with WebGL 3D product viewers (GLB assets), atelier-led editorial stories per collection, and a white-glove appointment flow with a real human in the loop. Photography and 3D shoot directed in-studio.
Design decisions.
- AaSöhne Breit — display
- AaGT Sectra Text — body
- AaSöhne Mono — pricing
Editorial 8-col layouts. 3D viewer with one tasteful spin. Pricing presented confidently — never apologised for.
- WebGL 3D viewer with craft-led close-ups
- Appointment booking with named atelier specialist
- Pricing surfaced confidently, never via discount theatre
What changed.
Generic Shopify theme, 800px product JPEGs, no provenance, no appointments, generic checkout.
Hydrogen + WebGL storefront, editorial collection stories, white-glove appointment flow, confident pricing.
