01Who we are
Logic Layer Solution is a digital studio registered in the United Kingdom, trading as logiclayersolution.uk. We build web platforms, SaaS interfaces, brand systems, and security solutions for clients worldwide.
This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit our website or contact us, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and what rights you have over it. We operate under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
02What data we collect
Contact form submissions
When you fill in our contact or enquiry form we collect your name, email address, company name, and the content of your message. This is the minimum needed to respond to you.
Email correspondence
If you email us directly we store the content of that thread in our email platform for as long as the conversation is commercially relevant.
Analytics (aggregated)
We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are visited and how users navigate the site. No personally identifiable information is stored. IP addresses are anonymised before any processing.
Cookies
We set a single session cookie to remember whether you have already seen the intro animation. No tracking or advertising cookies are used. No third-party cookies are set by this site.
03How we use your data
Contact form data is used solely to respond to your enquiry and, if an engagement follows, to manage the client relationship. We do not add you to any mailing list without explicit opt-in.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
We may share data with sub-processors (hosting, email) who are contractually bound to process it only on our instruction and under equivalent data-protection obligations.

Responding to a business enquiry you initiated.
Contractual necessity
Processing data required to deliver agreed services.
Consent
Where we rely on consent (e.g. newsletter sign-up) you can withdraw it at any time by emailing us.
05Data retention
Enquiry messages that do not lead to a contract are deleted after 12 months.
Client project data is retained for 7 years after project completion for accounting and legal purposes, then securely deleted.
Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised — no individual retention periods apply.
06Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the data we hold about you; request correction of inaccurate data; request erasure ('right to be forgotten'); object to processing; request restriction of processing; data portability.
To exercise any of these rights email info@logiclayersolution.uk with the subject line 'Data Request'. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
07Security
All data in transit is encrypted via TLS 1.2+. Contact form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and stored in access-controlled systems. We apply the principle of least privilege — only the people who need your data to do their job can access it.

08Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our practices change or when regulations require it. The 'last updated' date at the bottom of this page reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated via the site.
